The "Fresh-keeping Guard" in Biopharmaceuticals: Working Principle and Operation & Maintenance Guide of Yingtai Freeze Dyrer

In fields such as biopharmaceuticals and food processing, how to maintain the activity and quality of heat-sensitive materials for a long time? The lyophilizer, relying on the core technology of "low-temperature dehydration", has become a key equipment to solve this problem. As a professional lyophilizer manufacturer, we will explain its working logic and maintenance points in detail based on years of manufacturing experience.

The core principle of the lyophilizer is "sublimation drying", which is divided into three stages: first, in the pre-freezing stage, the temperature of the material is lowered below the freezing point (usually -40to -60) to condense the moisture into solid ice; then enters the sublimation stage, where the ice is directly converted into water vapor and separated from the material in a vacuum environment; finally, through desorption drying, a small amount of bound water remaining in the material is removed, and finally the dried product with a water content of less than 5% is obtained. This process can maximize the retention of the active ingredients, shape and nutrition of the material, and is a "necessary equipment" for the production of vaccines, enzyme preparations and high-end food.

There are two key points to pay attention to during operation: first, the pre-freezing speed must match the material characteristics. For example, biological agents need to be cooled slowly to avoid ice crystals damaging the cell structure; second, the vacuum degree must be stably controlled at 1-10Pa. Too low a vacuum degree will reduce the sublimation efficiency, and too high a vacuum degree may cause the material to foam. In daily maintenance, it is necessary to check the tightness of the vacuum system every week, clean the frost layer on the inner wall of the cold trap every month, and replace the vacuum pump oil every quarter. These details can extend the service life of the equipment by 3-5 years.

As a manufacturer focusing on the R&D of lyophilization technology, our equipment has not only passed GMP certification, but also can customize the lyophilization area and cooling speed according to customer needs. From small laboratory machines to industrial production line equipment, we can fully meet the needs of different scenarios.
