Why Pre-freezing is Necessary Before Freeze-drying?

1. To lay the groundwork for the sublimation phase, forming crystals that are conducive to sublimation.

2. To ensure that the product maintains the same shape before and after drying.

Pre-freezing Methods:

1. Pre-freezing Temperature: The pre-freezing temperature should be 10-20°C below the eutectic point of the material.

2. Loading Thickness: The product thickness should not exceed 1 cm.

3. Loading Containers: Containers with a larger specific surface area are preferable.
