Yingtai Floor-Standing Centrifuge: The "Industrial Scavenger" for Environmental Solid-Liquid Separation
In the fields of environmental water treatment and chemical production, the floor-standing centrifuge has become a core equipment to solve the separation problem of high-concentration solid-liquid mixtures, relying on the advantages of continuous separation and large processing capacity. With a large weight (usually several tons to dozens of tons) and high processing capacity (a single unit can process 5-50 cubic meters of materials per hour), it needs to be installed on the ground through a fixed base. This floor-standing design can effectively ensure the stability of the equipment during high-speed operation and avoid vibration deviation. The equipment uses a horizontal drum rotating at high speed (rotating speed up to 3000rpm) to generate centrifugal force, which throws solid particles such as sludge and waste residue to the inner wall of the drum, and then continuously discharges them through the screw pusher. The clear liquid is collected through the overflow port. It is widely used in municipal sewage treatment, chemical waste residue recovery, mine wastewater purification and other scenarios, greatly improving the treatment efficiency of industrial wastewater and waste residue.
Operating the floor-standing centrifuge requires focusing on "material adaptation" and "operation monitoring". When processing high-viscosity sludge, it is necessary to adjust the differential speed between the drum and the screw in advance (usually controlled at 5-30rpm) to avoid the accumulation of solid particles; when processing corrosive materials, drums and screws made of stainless steel or titanium alloy should be used to prevent equipment corrosion. Before starting the equipment, check the lubrication of the drum to ensure that the lubricating oil level meets the standard; during operation, monitor the current and vibration value in real time. If the current suddenly rises or the vibration exceeds 0.5mm/s, stop the machine immediately for inspection to prevent failure caused by drum imbalance.
Daily maintenance needs to formulate plans for "core components" and "vulnerable parts". After shutting down every day, rinse the drum and screw to remove residual materials and avoid affecting the separation effect after drying; check the blade wear of the screw pusher every week, and repair it in time if the wear amount exceeds 2mm; replace the differential oil every month, and clean the cooling system at the same time to prevent the oil temperature from being too high; conduct dynamic balance testing on the drum every six months, and add counterweights to calibrate if there is imbalance. In addition, check the equipment seals regularly, and replace them immediately if leakage occurs to avoid pollution caused by material leakage.
Compared with the traditional plate and frame filter press, the floor-standing centrifuge has the advantages of no manual unloading, high separation efficiency and small floor area. It can also realize automatic continuous operation and reduce labor costs. With the continuous improvement of environmental protection requirements, floor-standing centrifuges with intelligent frequency conversion control, high slag-liquid separation accuracy and low energy consumption have become important equipment for industrial enterprises to achieve the goal of "zero emission" and practice green production.
